What did I do?
During my internship at Ether Design, I worked with the Product and Automotive team on OEM parts for Indian motorcycle manufacturers. I helped the team with concept development and sketching for various OEM parts for mopeds and motorcycles as well as a personal project—designing a cordless iron—under the guidance of my mentor, allowing me to develop my skills in product design and innovation.

Many irons have a bulky design, making them heavy and uncomfortable to use for extended periods. Poor ergonomics contribute to wrist strain, making ironing a tiring task.
Most traditional irons are corded, limiting movement and causing tangled wires. The constant bending and twisting of the cord can lead to wear and tear, reducing the iron’s lifespan.
